Mr. Dan McAllister, San Diego County Treasurer-Tax Collector, gave an interesting review of his time in office.  This included fascinating stories of how and why the tax bill that we all see was updated from its 1951 iteration to its new format shortly after his election.  He reviewed the numbers for tax collection and revenue investments.  He introduced us to how and why the County Treasurer is investing in local Community Banks and how they all interact.  Then he opened the floor to questions.  McAllister Biography
